Firefox help

So I stupidly upgraded my Windows to 8.1 (don't! trust me on this). Part of the upgrade was an automatic installation of IE 11. This browser sucks! Serious problems with pop-ups and flash ads all over the place. So tonight I downloaded Firefox to use.

So what are your favorite add-ons to make the browser more secure and user friendly? I did add the Adblock add-on. Any others I should use?

My favorites are Ghostery and DoNotTrackMe. With Ghostery it shows you all the trackers on a page and sometimes it's absolutely frightening how many snoops there are on a site. :-)

I'd recommend Adblock 2.4 as someone already mentioned plus Do Not Track Me, Download Status bar, FB Purity (cleans up the ads on Facebook), Facebook Phishing Protection, and Session Manager. I've downloaded others but I think these would be a good place to begin.

Thanks! I'll check those out, too.
